  Stuart Broad took 3/46 (including a hat trick) in the first innings of the Test, which was the second time that he has taken a Hat Trick, and he became the first England bowler to take a Hat Trick on two occasions. Sri Lanka won the match against England at Headingley, which was the first match Sri Lanka have played against England at Headingley, Sri Lanka v England at Headingley, and they have now won 3, lost 5, and drawn 6 of the 14 matches played against England in England. Kariyawasam Prasad took 5/50 in the second innings of the Test, which was the first time that he has taken five wickets in an innings, and he has now taken 28 wickets at an average of 50.82.
