Teachers Package
A new resource package for school counselors and educators was launched on
17 October, 2003, which provides valuable information on assisting students who are
primary carers of a mentally ill adult in their family to achieve better educational
outcomes. The package has been prepared as a joint DECS initiative with COMIC,

Crossroads Conference

About Downloading Files
Generally, documents for downloading are available in both Microsoft Word (.DOC)
and Abobe Acrobat (.PDF) formats. When you a click on a link to download a document,
your web browser will attempt to download and display the document in the browser
window. To do this the necessary software must be installed on your computer. In
the case of .PDF files - Adobe Acrobat Reader 3.0 or later, and for .DOC files -
Microsoft Word 97 or later.

If the required software is not installed your browser will display a dialog allowing
you to download the file to your computer, and you can just follow the prompts.

If you do not have either Microsoft Word or Acrobat Reader installed on your computer,
you can download Acrobat Reader from the Adobe web site by clicking the 'Get Acrobat
Reader' logo below.

Microsoft Windows users wanting to download a document to disk rather than display
it in their browser, can right click on the download link and then select 'Save Target As',
then follow the prompts.

The MS Word version of documents are also provided in .ZIP compressed format for faster file
download for users who have WinZip or similar software installed.
